I have had a large callus that formed on the ball of my foot as a result of a foot and ankle injury about 12 years ago. After the injury a large blood blister formed on the ball of my foot and the doctors said this would dissolve but it never did it just turned into a hard callus. I have been to foot doctors and the doctor who did surgery on my ankle and they said I was just lucky to have my foot. I am a respiratory therapist and I am on my feet alot. I wear the best shoes and inserts in them to try to help relieve the pressure but nothing seems to help. Please help the pain is with me everyday.
