I was at a charity function today and so could not post after this morning. I just saw Lui's post.
I wanted to make some points about your core design and what obviously was a lack of good communication.
Lui is really quite talented, it is one of the reasons he and I want to work together on this project. I think communication between Roy and Lui have been a problem and I am sure good discussion on the engineering and science of this would occur if we had a chance to spend some time together. E-mail and posts are just never quite the same as good old fashion dialogue and brainstorming. So we really should try to hold more frequent conferences.
I am truly sorry I didn't see your HE power point right away. It is at the bottom of the front page of our member site and you don't see it if you just enter the message board. So initially I didn't see it. When I did I thought it was a heat exchanger and didn't read it carefully enough.
Anyway, I did want to compliment you on the design. It is really beautiful and very professional and there is something to be said for that. I think there are great qualities in it and I have come to think having the final prototype core design machined is what we should do,
That being said, my initial thought was that the 8 chamber reactor was in essence one reactor not a LEarNeR Core design for multiple tests at once. I do think Lui makes a good point regarding isolation of the seperate reactor results, that was my initial thought. Have you given this issue some thought?
Anyway, Lui and I have discussed why Rossi created his 1mg reator as he did and we think it may be because at anytime some of his reactors don't work. So your 8 chamber reactor may actually be a great idea, just maybe not for multiple tests in the LEarNeR Kit.
Anyway, I am sorry Lui and I didn't see your work right away and I wanted to thank you for a very professional job. I really think we have a good TEAM and if we would just start communicating better we can get this project completed with good results,
