I've been thinking about the phrase "hid in God", and I'm beginning to wonder if it could allow for being hid in scripture. After all, in the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God.
This is just a thought, and not something I'm asserting as the only way to see it. However, I often hear people say you can't separate Jesus from the Bible, or the Bible from Jesus. That certainly seems true.
So if something was hid "in God", and THE WORD was God, then couldn't you say the thing hid was hid in THE WORD? |
