6 weeks ago, I had an ORIF because of non-union of a 5th metatarsal fracture. (I had a NWB plaster and then a PWB plaster for 12 weeks prior to the operation.) I now has a PWB plaster again - but still even with a plate and screws in place, there is still little calcification.

1) Will it eventually heal or is there a risk that it just won't?
2) Is there anything I can do/take to help stimulate blood flow and calcification? (Have upped my milk intake quite drastically, am keeping it elevated when resting and am tring to keep my toes moving.)

As you can imagine, it is now 19 weeks later and it is really testing my resolve. Grateful for all suggestions!
