I am a runner and recently have begun to have pain in the outer(small toe side) of my left foot. It is from the center of the foot back to almost under my left ankle.
For background i was running about 10 miles a day 4 days a week.I changed shoes about 4 weeks prior to the injury.I started to get a blister on my left foot and satrted tying my shoes tighter than normal to prevent it.The injurty occured after this although it may be unrelated. The pain disappears after about 7 days of relative rest.Any ideas as to what this may be? If i stop activity immediately and rest the pain is not severe, however i made the mistake of playing soccer the day after the injury first occured and could barely walk that night and the following day.
Thanks
James
