Dear Dr. Lawson,
Where do I find a doctor who does all that you describe? I have plantar fasciitis & am becoming very discouraged. My doctor had his nurse do ultra sound for only a minute. He has given me 2 steroid shots (dexamathasone) which only relieved the pain for a few days. He wants to give me more but I am reluctant. He did put me on motrin which does not really help much. I can't be on my feet for more than 5 minutes. I do the stretches, use ice daily, have good support shoes with gel orthotics & things are not better. I tried some $40 orthotics the doctor had but they hurt so I bought the gel ones. When you say orthotics do you mean getting a mold of my foot & spending a few hundred dollars for this?
