Not to demean you or your re-explanation, or to criticize you merely for the sake of criticism, but to advise that in a forum where ones words are the complete and sole context for expression of facts regarding their situation, when a questioner makes a statement, the responder must either take the questioner's words at face value or simply discount them as pure rhetoric, offered for "effect." Unfortunately, all too often posters here as well as even those face to face with their doctor in the office make either rash or inaccurate statements about their condition and/or their concerns for them which do not reflect the reality of their situation as they see it. They must then retract, deny or equivocate. Accordingly, having clearly told me that it is your fear that you will do some sort of harm which will come back to haunt you, I advised that you seek a hands-on examination from a qualified doctor, and that this is not a proper venue to obtain information specific to your complaint on which you might either ratify or allay your fear. But now you offer that going to a doctor and having him/her find nothing serious wrong would make you "feel silly." I ask only that if questioners desire the best response possible within reasonable expectations of what might be obtained here, that they offer adequate and correct information, including an accurate characterization of their concerns. |
