The November 22, 2009 Macon Telegraph's "Neighbors" featured the group photo of the "Col. Hawkins Tribute Trip" at his National Monument in Downtown Roberta with Mary Lee Rogers, Lucia Chapman Carr, Ian Underwood, Dianne Dent Wilcox, Lynn Halstead Stokes, Echo Halstead Burrell, and Marty Willett posing proudly for the photo by Lisa Willett. The photo has already been published by The Georgia Post in Roberta. Ron Wildman's excellent coverage of the Tribute Trip is now being broadcast of Cable Ch 14 and includes the Roberta National Monument gathering and the group at the Col.'s gravestie on the Flint River. The Fort Hawkins segment also includes our Veterans Day Salute and is being aired at 8-12-4 both am and pm on Ch 14's "Macon Update." |
