Hope you were proud to see the Macon Telegraph's Letter to the Editor about our 4th Annual Fort Hawkins Veterans Day Salute. You will be even prouder to actually see the patriotic ceremony on Ron Wildman's "Macon Update" currently being broadcast on Local Cox Cable Ch 14 at 8-12-4 both am & pm. The program also includes other Veterans Day programs as well as our "Col. Hawkins Tribute Trip" and really portrays our Fort Hawkins work in a great way.
However,it also reveals our real need to be open daily to the public - to properly preserve and promote the great American heritage found at Fort Hawkins! |
