Check this out:
2 Cor 5:2 - "For in this we groan, earnestly desiring
to be clothed" (Modern).
"For in this we groan earnestly, desiring
to be clothed" (KJV 1611).
Do we "groan earnestly"? or do we "earnestly desire" to be cloth? Which sounds correct; be honest. please! If you thought the first one then the second one is the false translation!!!
Another one is Mathew 23:24 - "Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel." Every version icluding the 1611 version has this translation. What is the proplem? every version before it had "strain out", and there is a big differece between 'straining at a gnat' and 'straining out a gnat.' This false translation never been corrected in any version!
I was told by a guy with a Master's degree that works for J. Chick at Chick Publications that if I find only ONE change in the KING JAMES bible then the King James is not the true translation.
Here is some more powerful comparisons of the King James Version Modern and 1611 translations:
Jeremiah 49:1 - "Why then doth their king inherit "GAD", and his people dwell in his cities?" (Modern, 1769).
"Why then doth their king inherit 'God'..." (KJV 1611). Is it God or Gad?
1 Corinthians 12:28- "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tounges" (KJV 1769).
"And God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, then gifts of healings, helps 'IN' governments" (KJV 1611).
Notice the "IN" in the 1611 version, but no one to this day knows whether or not it should be there or not. This is a substantial change because if the "IN" is correct (without the comma), then "Helps 'IN' governments refers to ONE role. But if the "IN" does not belong there then "helps, governments" are two different roles! For example: helps would be deacons; on the other hand, elders would be governments.
2nd Chronicles 28:11 - "...the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you" (1769).
"...the firce wrath of God is upon you" (1611).
1611 had "God" instead of the LORD (which is YHWH)!!!
2nd Kings 11:10 - "... the temple of the LORD" (modern).
2nd Kings 11:10 - "... the temple." (1611).
the 1611 KJV left out of the Lord!!!
1st Samuel 28:7 "Then said Saul unto his servants... And his SERVANTS said to him." (Modern)
1st Samuel 28:7 - "And his SERVANT said to him" (1611).
Is it plural or singular?!?!?!
How dumb can we be! We need to wake up and smell the roses that there is no HOLY GRAIL of a translation that is better than the sources from which it is translated. |
