Sounds like a routine case is approximately less than an hour, all tolled---and no general? I can do that! I realize everyone (and each case) is different, surgeons included, but it did sound a little much to use general anesthesia for a minor toe procedure. While I'm still not looking forward to it, I feel MUCH better thanks to your info. Knowledge is power, and knowing more abt what I'm facing helps me in my quest for the right surgeon.
