I can only reiterate, Harry, that minimal incision of the foot is NOT analagous to minimally invasive procedures performed by other medical disiplines. As I have stated, there IS a place for these procedures, but they are best done in the hands of surgeons who have a full arsenal of techniques, not just minimal incisional techniques. If you see everything as a nail, the only tool you need is a hammer. This is simply not good enough. But alas, I see that I will not convince you of this. The truth is that with all of your bluster, you have neither the expertise nor the capability of assessing the advantages or disadvantages of a specific surgical technique. You seem to feel that your non-scientific anecdotal approach has some merit, but the plural of anecdote is NOT data. It would also appear that you have some issues with traditional medicine and are probably one of those who believes that if standard medical practice dictates something, it must be wrong. This is the sort of attitude that makes the supplement industry jump for joy.
But go ahead and believe what you will. No skin off my nose. Fortunately, there are enough of the likes of me to see to it that most patient get really good care and hopefully are protected from those talk a better game than they offer. |
