No need to make unkind characterization regarding me when you have no actual knowledge of what you say. As I have already stated, not only, on a descriminating basis, do I perform the procedures you reference, but I teach them.
But ecconomically frightened?? . . . I think not. I don't know you either professionally or personally, so I won't return the slur by commenting on your competence or lack thereof. But others of your ilk are, in fact, a huge source of income for me, as I get to attempt to fix the messes that these ill-chosen techniques leave in their wake. Revisionary surgery, incidentally is much more difficult than virgin surgery.
As far as ampulatory groups such you reference, they were created years ago when hospitals and more recently HMO's began requiring Board Certification for inclusion in their staffs and panels. This meant meeting the stringent case documentation and testing requirements of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS), the only truly recognized surgical board in Podiatric Medicine. Those who could not meet these requirements, but desired to "call" themselves "Board Certified" made application to these "ambulatory" groups and received certificates "calling" themselve Board Certified.
BEWARE FOLKS . . If it's not ABPS it ain't Sugical Board Certification in Podiatry |
