I haven't read any recommendations to ice, but I think the icing I did when I had plantar fascitis did a lot to help. I did exercises, about 5 different ones, and I iced 3 times a day. It took two months but now my pf is gone. However I am also dealing with morton's neuroma and that is no fun either. I am going to try acupuncture as I really don't want to resort to surgery.
Would be interested to hear from anyone who has had surgery for morton's neuroma.

I have the same problem not being able to stand or walk with a nice gait. I am crippled with a cane barely to get around the house. I had all sorts of tests and appliances to use but it was not till I Had a second nerve conduction test, one with the needles up in the back area, that I found the nerve problem is in my back and has nothing to do with my feet. Even though that is where it hurts. I would for sure have this test before I condidered any surgery. Just to rule this out for sure. My Lower body nerve test was fine. I cannot even wear socks hardly with any shoes, Around the house I wear sandels and in the shower I roll a handtowel to stand on. My Orthos that were made, hurt my feet even after second adjustment and the New Balance shoes, I cannot wear. I will get more info on the nerve test this week to see what can be done, but just do not rule it out. Who would have ever thought, but, the DR sais it is all the same nerve. |
