Kevin would you please consider at the next meeting a rule to allow these types of targets at the base of the berm on the pistol range? I'm taking suspended about a foot above one foot up from the ground at the outdoor pistol range at whatever it is (70 yards I think). I have a lot of fun shooting for longer targets like this and normally throw clays in the berm. I'd like to get better with repeated sight/target acquisition connection. I'm sorry to bring up a sad subject, but being that we have an entity like Krasner she I've now moved to the burbs, I'd like to more casually and for fun meet the requirements of responding longer distance to a mass event assuming I could see the backstop. I moved almost 5 years ago to Montgomery county when my mom needed constant care (Dad passed) and have started using guardian, it's not a scenario I could see happening at Holmesberg although being that the freaking shotgun range is fubar for the foreseeable future, perhaps we could create dirt berms to achieve the same at HBF&G there. Shit there PWD might even donate the dirt. I love the club for the old school feel, I've never met anyone o haven't liked there either. I get that this isn't an old school idea. It's a question. I'd consider running for whatever position if I could promote this idea, assuming I could work full time and care for my 85 year old disabled Mom at the same time.

Hi David,

You have it correct. Metallic spinners are OK on the rifle range, but only at the 100 yard line, and only for .22 LR, rim-fire. The .22 LR projectile pretty much splatters on impact, but you still get to hear that satisfying steel ring!
Like our silhouette league used to say, "Shoot Steel - have fun!"
Best Regards, Kevin
