This has GOT to be a nightmare for David Zuckerman, who apparently you are familiar with since, as a token of his "good will," as I believe he termed it, he introduced you to this forum.
He recently had differences of opinion with me, especially in regard to MIS, and posted some rather unseemly comments about both me and this web site under both his name, and though he denies it, quite clearly some other names. It is quite evident to me that his post under the name of Pompous which immediately followed your initial post, in which he expressed glee at having a "real" doctor post here was his work also. Previous to your arrival, the Administrator of this site intervened and removed those posts, but some guys never seem to learn or even wise up.
The nightmare is that I have long-railed against those who perform so-called MIS podiatric surgery, and your statements, especially in regard for your having to do revisionary surgery on more than a few of the MIS messes which eventually wound up in your office, parallels my stated experience. I concur that just about the only place for this type of surgery in podiatry is for removal of a small exostosis of a phalanx.
Personally, I am quite pleased that you have joined the forum, and look forward to reading many more posts from you.
But Zuckerman . . careful what you wish for, as you may not want it once you get it. |
