magnus, if you read thru your manual it should tell you how to set up the parameters of your speedo. there is an "exchange" point where it will transfer from the paddle wheel to the speedo hole in the lower unit. the reason your fuel tank still showed 104 gallons is because even tho the gauge is digital, you still have the same ole style float in your tank. it also depends on the attitude of the boat and the placement of the sender. meaning, if your float is located in the back of the tank and the boat has a bow high attitude while at rest, the fuel doesnt start to lower in the back of the tank until you burn enough of fuel. as far as dts fear? nah dont worry. run the boat, enjoy and read as much as you can. |
