Now, why don't you try to field some of the questions posed by the patients who frequent this forum, or would that simply prove too embarrassing for you?

I look forward to reading your helpful posts.

Sorry, this is the only time I get to play on the computer. I just happened to browse this web site this evening. I can't really take the time to help all these people and argue with you at the same time. I have three surgeries a day I must prepare for during the week. By the extent of your postings on this board, I see you have plenty of time to give advice however misguided it is. So as Occasional said of your lame advice "What the heck are you talking about. Thanks but no Thanks!"
=====================================
I rather thought you'd decline to take up my suggestion that you attempt to field questions from actual patients in this forum. As you are apparently unaware, truly busy people can always find time to help folks. It's those, apparently such as you, who have all the time in the world who believe that they neither have the time nor do they give a damn unless there is payment involved. (Sound familiar, Mr. Jay?)

But the real crux of the issue as to why you don't post replies to questioners and only participate when your own ox is being righteously gored is that obviously you simply have neither the expertise, nor he knowledge nor the wealth of experience to do so. YOUR expertise, no doubt lies in sales (though you couldn't prove that by your discussion here), unreasonably glowing pre-surgical promises which are quickly excused away after the procedure and likely bobbing and weaving when things go terribly wrong. On the other hand I ALWAYS have time to help others, irrespective of any remuneration. I've long since paid MY professional dues, and that has now freed me to teach, direct a major hospital's podiatry department, do research, consult and to accept only the most challenging of cases.

And just why should anyone believe anything which you have alleged? After all, you've lied in disguising your "professional" status in your initial message. You've lied in denying that you were indeed not that "other" Jay. You've lied in stating that you use endoscopic visualization in your procedures . . but only when needed. My good pseudo-doctor . . You would not know which end of an endoscope to peer into. An endoscope in endoscopic surgery is not something that is used "as needed," as the essence of performing endoscopic surgery is in USING it. Aside from that, there is only one . . at most two procedures in the foot which lend themselves to endoscopic surgery, so, Mr. Jay . . once again, your pants are on fire.

As far as your claim that you use interoperative radiographs, this is not a substitute for visualization of the surgical site, as it is a retrospective rather than prospective modality. In other words, it will show you what was already done and what shouldn't have been done (the oops factor), but it is not at all useful for determining what IS to be done and for the avoidance of vital structures as MUST be done when performing quality surgery. But what the hell, Mr. Jay . . What you can't see, won't hurt YOU. And you must have some manner of super tactile sensation in those hands of yours to be able to determine when your high-speed, side-cutting burr is up against a tiny nerve or blood vessel or is about to mangle a joint capsule or a tendon sheath. But the scariest thing of all is that you might actually believe what you're saying.

So, Mr. Jay . . You've boxed yourself, yet again, into that hole your digging for yourself with lies and mis-statements and ignorance and arrogance. The best advice when finding oneself in such a predicament is to first STOP DIGGING. But I don't think that you have the ability to do that.

But DO try, Mr. Jay, to find the time in your busy schedure to answer at least a couple of questions every week. I'm sure that even someone so busy as you could find that much time . . somewhere.
