Guys, I think Glen is right when you flush for salt water use the flush port. My 250 is on a bass boat so fresh water only. I fish some lakes with the trolling motor only so I need to run mine on the muffs if I don't get a chance run the bigger lakes. I just take some duct tape and seal the front intake holes, put on the muffs and watch the temp and water pressure while having a beer. Water pressure is about 3-5 at idle and temp runs up to 135* and stay's there. I have done this on my opti's and now my V. Please do not walk away while doing this.
