Now see here, Dr. Harry . . My opinion, unlike yours, is based on my being a skilled professional in the field. Just as a qualified expert witness is allowed to opine in a court of law, so my opinion has the weight of knowledge which yours does not. Even in my discussion with Dr. Ozer, who, ostensibly also has professional credentials, other than for my professional disagreement as to the best methods to perform certain surgeries, my real battle with him is over his insistence that foot surgery should ONLY be done in the office, should ONLY be done under local anesthesia and should ONLY be done by MIS techniques.
As far as Boards are concerned for certification in foot and ankle surgery in podiatric medicine, the ABPS IS the profession's only recognized Board. So yes . . If you call yourself Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery in Podiatric Medicine, it MUST be that you are certified by the very Board which I have reference. What part of that do you not understand?
Contrary to your statement, I have no power to deny patients MIS procedures if they so wish to have them. But I do have an obligation to both my patients and to those in this forum who have asked for professional advice to give them my professional opinion as I see it.
And there you go again . . . suggesting that I'm not really what I claim to be. Mighty curious of a statement from someone who has yet to answer my repeated question, "What is it that you do in that hospital where you work?" Owing to many of my rather through and I would judge knowledgeable posts in answer to various questions in this forum, I must be one hellova educated "janitor."
. . NO?
Finally, I have never given you any indication or reason to believe that I would call you a liar if you told me more about yourself and your background, so why not give it a try, doc?
"Lies and misrepresentations" ... Insult by innuendo is something I won't stoop to answer. |
